I want to buy a replacement ring for my Truvativ Touro Track 1.1 chainset, currently thre is a 48t ring which is just a bit much for my commute, lots of traffic lights and some short steep climbs combined with my knackered 40year old knees.

How can I be sure I am buying the right ones I am not sure what the existing BCD / PCD is to match correctly.

thanks
EV

Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
  • Didnt know much about the duplication in gears but I am thinking I am starting to get it, so for decent road hills and speed best get a 2 ring crank.

Great advice folks, think the key is buy soon before the old increase next year!
