Did the Clocks Change?

Got up at usual time this morning, but it was dark!
What has happened, have the clocks changed and nobody told me....
Full lights on for commute this morning, dark, dreary and drizzly - so just a normal day in Glasgow then!
Just a matter of time before commuting both ways in the dark. Oh the joys......

That kind of cheeriness I can do without thank you very much :P0

It's your fault for living in Scotland :P0

It wasn't dark down here in East Anglia, but I was pleased to note a bit of a chill in the air - for once the jacket was the right choice. I've had enough of the warm weather and am ready for autumn.Summer: 2012 Trek Madone 3.5

We'll have none of that talk either!0 -
Yup - it was lovely and cool rushing down through the air on my run into London from the hills of Kent0

Keep talking like that and I'll have to get your membership revoked :twisted:0

Of more concern is the 29mph morning headwind the BBC Weather website is currently promising for Wednesday...Summer: 2012 Trek Madone 3.5

What time was that at?
I wish I started commuting earlier in the year!!!
Also not looking forward to the very windy conditions later on in the week.0 -
CW, don't worry, the more these frigophiles* celebrate the coming of autumn, the better the chances of an Indian Summer.
*damn, my spellchecker doesn't think this is a word. Hibernophiles? No, not that either. Ok, ice-perverts, then...0 -

06.50. Should have been light."Encyclopaedia is a fetish for very small bicycles"0 -
Left home at about 0700 this morning. Didn't need lights (not even close to needing them), it was warm (September? really??) bl**dy great headwind though!
Must be Glasgow (dark place) and East Anglia (for a frosty reception).

Thanks DM. My fear and good humour is restored0 -
Anyway, won't it get lighter in the mornings when the clocks change?
These things always confuse me. You'd think I'd be used to it by now.Summer: 2012 Trek Madone 3.5

It's unnatural - that's why it confuses so.0

You are right, twill get lighter, but only for a while, then it will get darker, much darker....
On a positive note, its not stopped raining here all day. A wet and muddy MTB run tonight methinks!!"Encyclopaedia is a fetish for very small bicycles"0 -

What warm weather? It's been perma autumn here!

Great, more reverse hexing - warmth and sunshine is now virtually guaranteed0 -
I hear snow is on the way, but I suspect for higher levels.
Non stop rain here, it has been ceaseless. Chucking the MTBing tonight, it would just be daft and cause more damage to the trails.
I need one of these for way home:"Encyclopaedia is a fetish for very small bicycles"0 -
Don't envy your commute home tonight Wallace, its blowing a gale out there with relentless rain. Glad today is one of my weekday, day's off!
Hope you made it home in one piece0 -
