For my new build I am going to buy a Fizik Aliante saddle - what's the best seat post to use with this? I know Fizik make their own forged seat post, so I am leaning towards that at the moment. It will be fitted to either an Enigma Eclipse or Echo.

TIA :)

Not sure what you mean...the make of stem would be irrelevant, so long as it's the right length...

I think you mean a seat post.

I like 3T seatposts and stems.

Sorry chaps - Monday morning! Have edited it now. Yes, I meant seat post.

it still doesn't really matter, to be honest. Saddle rails are usually a standard fit, and so are most seat posts.....
  • I'd go with whatever best matches your stem and handlebars but that's purely a personal choice.

What about the material? Carbon? Ti? Steel? Alu? That not make a difference either?

    Really is personal choice.

I've always run a carbon post with my Ariones as they reduce road buzz.

Make and model I think is irrelevant.

Oh and weight terms the Fizik is a porker!
