I can remember sitting at my desk for 4 hours on my first day here waiting for my manager to tell me what I was supposed to be doing and general info etc. It never happened and I gave up waiting and got on with it.
Two weeks later I was finally told and asked what I thought about the job.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

I have a test day tomorrow, forgotten what they called it something fluffy..
anyway they were interested in my old skills in programming, rather than my networking
but they may also want to see my server skils, do i swot up on my programming or prat around in Server08 so i dont look like a noob
they did sound really interested in me and obviously i'd like a career so i dont want to mess things up

well it's supposed to be IT support, going to customers & fixing, possibly some wifi networks but they noticed my java background and was particularly eager to ask about my other programming skills. I did try explain these are all old qualifications and my professional background was networking

Can't sleep, absolutely knackered but too hexcited for my first day, am up at 6 too.
just wish I had the bike in order so I didn't have to detour into town on the buses taking as long as walking and paying for the privilege..
