Give him a break. He only has one thought an hour. When he forgets to breath.

Thing is A.Palmer likes "modern" music, hates Ska, Reggae and Blue Beat etc.

    Some hospital health carers eh?

Actually, if I have more than 1 breath per hour, I turn into a Steven Hawkin/Hulk hybrid...

I got me some double-vision now too!!!

    Must be the Tramadols...
  • There is some hardcore rubbish being spouted on this thread.

Just what I would expect from someone who thinks that Ozzy Ozbourne is anything other than a deluded crack head, much like the rest of his oxygen thief family.

What are you on? I listen to ska and reggae a lot and am not a care worker?

Why say you hate Reggae/Ska some posts back then?
    U Confused or wot?

Thing is, the article started with the words quote, so...then you were expecting original stuff? Surely, the word "quote" should give you a BIT clue.

As far as Ozzy goes, think he's a waste of space as regards his Lifestyle choices, the way his family turned out - his fault???
BUT, you can't take away the fact he was/is an Icon for heavy rock music.

If you weren't around in the early 70's you wouldn't understand.

ORIGINAL THOUGHT: Made a Job Suggestion Scheme idea for the Police, and got £150.
Saved time, effort, resources and LIVES.
    What's yours Andy?

I defy you to find a post by me saying i hate reggae/ska. I think you will infact find quite the opposite.

I've just done a search on mentions of reggae by A.Palmer Splotty. Apart from this topic and the clash of the titans one, there's a mention of Reggae Reggae sauce, and one which is more relevant. In the more relevant one, he lists a whole load of bands he likes, mentions that most of them are reggae, ska or hardcore bands, and then defends those genres when someone else calls them shit.

    Apologise. Now.

If I was around in th early 70s I'm pretty sure I still wouldn't understand being more a Bowie sort of guy.

Thing about Ozzy is, most of the "legendary" status given to him, actually belongs to Ronnie James Dio.

I like some of Ozzy's solo stuff, and I reckon he's a barely living legend of the Rock world simply for surviving so long!
    But Dio was the man.

Yeah, but Dio's playing bass in Hell.

    Ozzy somehow lives on.
  • But Dio was the man.

This. Seen both live and Dio was definitely better.

Talking of which: Great TV documentary bout Dr Feelgood last night.
( Am I allowed to mention this, Andy?)

Warts and all, with art-farty type segments of old 60's London gangster movies as well.

Didn't really appreciate what a totally great band they were, and so big too.

Lee Wilkinson reminds me a bit of Jean Jacques Burnel.
Intense, talented and totally nutz !!!

Apology is a sign of weakness. I have no weakness.
Except kittens, Thayers Ice Cream and Yorkshire Tea.

You started it by making a sarcastic comment, re postings. Got my back up.

Had a lazy day and thought others might want to add Positive comments on my posts, but wasn't expecting teenage/young male snotty nosed male-nurse replies.

If you don't wantta contribute Positively, don't reply. You don't HAVE to, just DON'T.

    Now, MY apology.

    I'm still waiting...

The Vegas Kings - Ronnie James Dio - Vocals/Bass
Ronnie and the Redcaps - Ronnie James Dio - Vocals/Bass
Ronnie Dio and the Prophets - Ronnie James Dio - Vocals/Bass
Elf- Ronnie James Dio - Lead vocals/bass

So yes, until he went in to Rainbow, he played bass.

Here's one, but I may have made it up
