can I use inner tube size 1.6 - 2.1 in my smart sam tyres size 2.25 or should i so for a wider inner tube 2.1 - 2.7

It's always best to use the right size.0

What our learned friend meant was yes but no but yes.
If you already have a smaller size, use it, will not make a huge difference, possibly slightly more susceptible to punctures.
If you are buying, buy the right size.I don't do smileys.
