Stick with what you have until it needs replacing, then get the one you feel most comfortable on hoods wise!
I have used all three big companies' groups. I like them all. All have their advantages. Sram, for me, has the least disadvantages...0 -
i like the feel of 7800 it shifts great i had 7900 before on another bike and 7800 is better i think cheers.just that some guys i know rave about sram.Colnago c60 Eps super record 11

it makes no real odds - the pros will ride whatever they are given.
Which do you prefer? Try them.0 -
I don't have Sram myself but a friend swapped his dura ace for Sram red . His bike has internal cabling and said Sram was a smoother gear change with less friction than dura ace . His words not mine0

There is diddly squat wrong with 7800 dura ace. If you already have it fitted, why don't you try it for a month or two? I have used it for 3 years and haven't had to make a single adjustment to the gear change settings.
No problem with people changing groupsets even if the only reason is for nothing more than the change itself. I can't really follow that through to changing over before even trying out the one on your bike!
Good luck with your deliberations.

Of course he's going to say something positive about his new setup, whatever brand it is. No way is he going to say "gee, I just spent a ton of money and it didn't make a bit of difference".0 -
