Johnny Bellis is listed as a non finisher
Going along to watch the Stage in Stoke tomorrow0 -
I was a volunteer on the top of Boundary Fell today and was impressed with the amount of people who turned up to watch.
Wout Poels and Ritchie Porte came up first closely followed by Jack Bauer, with about 4mins over the peleton led by Sky.
We had already packed up the barriers, signs etc etc when another motorcycle outrider came through flashing his lights shouting for people to get out of the way, closely followed by the very forlorn, knackered looking Jonny Bellis, with the broom wagon right on his tail.
Its possibly a bridge to far yet for Bellis, but I really hope he can recover from his horrendous accident and get back to the form and promise he has shown in his early career.0 -
A season missed through injury can take a couple of years to get over. Will a major team wait that long is the question... or is his future going to be riding domestic Premier Calendar races?0
