Riding in the Forest of Dean
I'm pretty new to MTBing and I've used up all the tracks near me. Whats the best way to find new stuff? I'm not good enough to join my local club, as I think I'd get left behind and I've tried looking on line, but it's quite hard to find where the good stuff is.

Hi there
First up, what style of riding do you do? XC? DH?
I do guiding around FoD. If you're interested, have a look at http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... highlight=
Cheers
AliI know not where I am going, my future will decide. But it's not the destination, it's the glory of the ride.

I like riding cross country ,not the wide forest tracks, the more difficult stuff. I've tried some of the downhills at Cannop Cycle Centre, but that's something I want to work up to. At the moment I'm looking for challangaing off road stuff. I wasn't sure about what you meant, are you offering to go riding with me, or asking me to pay you for guiding me around the forest?0

Have you found the enduro track? think of the freeminers trail, just ten miles long.
I was thinking if you're riding any time soon, throw me an email and I'll come and show you some of the unmarked trails.I know not where I am going, my future will decide. But it's not the destination, it's the glory of the ride.

i'd like to tag along sometime if it's an open invitation?it's always nice to try new trails and i could always repay the favour with showing you some of the other trails around cwmcarn0 -
Yeah go for it. I'm a bit busy, but the next dry weekend, I'll probably be riding
Haha that'd be good. I love Cwmcarn, but I've only been there twice...I know not where I am going, my future will decide. But it's not the destination, it's the glory of the ride.
