I am 4 months on from surgery on my spine.
The spacer hasn't really worked.
The bone graft didn't take.
I have two further fractures (bilateral pars defects at L5 for you techincal types)
My spine is slipping off itself (more techincal stuff - low grade spondylolisthesis) (5 - 10 years predicted for spinal fusion when it slips some more).
I am due a nerve conduction study for now inexplicable pins and needles.
but................
I AM ALLOWED TO RIDE MY BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!

eh...great about being able to ride your bike.....the other complicated medical stuff...not so much.Whenever I see an adult on a bicycle, I believe in the future of the human race.

Get in there, or rather on there.
Must have been hellish not being able to ride a bike.
However, good news at last, hope the cycling is enjoyable."Encyclopaedia is a fetish for very small bicycles"0 -

Where are you getting treated (which hospital)? not some local DGH, surely? You need a proper surgeon...
...good news about being back on wheels[/u]
It's just a hill. Get over it.0 -
Good nurses can be found on the banks of the River Severn Good to hear that you're back on two wheels.I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
