I know we've covered this previously (so apologies) but what GOOD battery charger should people use?
I'm in a shopping mood and need a good new one (replacing my >2 year old batteries in prep for the morning / evening commute and would like to get the best charger I can.
I'm aware of ones that can deep discharge and recharge to maximise the energy held, so if the knowledgeable ones on here could help it would be appreciated.

Really depends how many batterys you want to charge at a time, and a I assume your doing AA/AAA?
If 4 bays is enough, the Technoline BL-700 is rather good. I picked one up from

The one other folks have talked about is here
Voltcraft IPC-1L battery charger
search on
http://www1.conrad-uk.com/ £18.95
But spec are a little cranky - charge current lower if all four slots in use etc.0 -
