What bike do you ride and what sort of riding do you do? Then people can advise which may suit you more

Depends what riding you are doing really.

The Code is aimed more at the DH, AM, FR market while the Elixir is aimed more at the XC/Trail riding market (although more than capable of handling AM stuff).

I use the Elixir CRs on the E120 and they are pretty awesome stoppers. Nice bit of carbon bling as well.

Personally I think SLX brakes can't be beaten for the money. Or if you want to spend more get Saint.
