    That's not good is it?

Ah well, retaliation, here's Marmaduke Duke covering Beyonce, that's practically Biffy.

  • Wow. That is a triple decker shît sandwich!

    Shît song.

    By a shît band.

    Sung by a shît singer.

Although Biffy Clyro deserve their song to be ruined. I nearly crashed my car in shock at how bad their cover of Killing in the Name of was when I heard it on Radio 1 over Xmas. Sucked every last drop of attitude from the original with their crappy, drippy boringness that Kerrang readers seem to get wet over.

Usually their covers seem to aim for awfulness. Their cover of Weezer's Buddy Holly was, well, unexpected

The live lounge thing's a bit unfair though, it was an acoustic slot so they did a daft acoustic reinterpretation. It's not like they couldn't have done a boring, straight cover version. You may or may not like this:

  • I have just watched a You tube video of that cover. It had the same effect as the first time I heard it.

I now want to hunt them down and violently disembowel them!

Yeah, but same thing, that was their secret show on the introducing stage. (I'm one of the pointing fingers in the crowd) . Remember Rage were playing that weekend too, so it was a bit of fun, and it worked. TBH Killing in the Name can do with having a bit of fun poked at it.

  • What? One of the all time great songs could do with being murdered by a bunch of twacunts?

And you were in the crowd when Biffy Clyro were on stage? You tasteless heathen!

All time greats? It's not even one of the best Rage songs. Good dancefloor fodder I guess. The middle class rebellious kids like it

And this is why having Biffy and the Apples and Ben Folds take the mick out of it is a good thing, it's a sacred cow
