Paris to Suffolk 2011-I need a route from Paris to Calais!

Hi all,

I want to do a low cost epic adventure next year. I'm thinking of taking the Eurostar to Paris then cycling home (about 320 miles).

Does anyone have any good (quiet) routes from Paris to Calais?

    a few years ago i did paris to london inside 24hrs.

    instead of dover to calais we went newhaven to dieppe. shorter route and a 4 hour ferry however the ride from dieppe to paris was awesome, inluding the avenue verte - an old railway track turned into a cycle track (tarmaced so fine on a road bike). definitly recommend that route...

    One of the n roads towards Dieppe, then coast road to Calais, not particularly direct, but lots of nice scenery between Dieppe and Calais, worked for a company in Dieppe for 10 years and spent much time driving between Calais and Dieppe.

    n roads are generally pretty quiet in France, most people stick to the A/E roads for driving.
