I ve been cycling now for 6 months, and try to get out twice a week.
But i find myself constantly thinking about my bike, like all the time. Is this normal?

  • Some things are best kept to yourself. I have recently joined a club after commuting for a year on my todd and I find myself thinking about the routes and how much I enjoyed it, while looking forward to the next one.

I'm always thinking about his missus too.

I'm not at that stage yet. But I always give her a good night glance just before tucking myself up for the night.

Sounds healthy to me, I spend a great deal of my time thinking about my bike, what I can do to improve it, looking at it and of course riding it.

I keep her under a blanket in the garage due to the fact my son restores old cars and he often has an angle grinder going cuasing sparks to fly all over the place.

If I need to go to the garage for any reason I often lift the blanket to check on her and admire her paintwork.

I have been unable to ride this week due to a virus and its been hell, God I have missed her

Good idea, put your pride and joy under a combustable blanket with lots of sparks flying around!

When I told a friend of mine that I'd bought a bike with some pink on it and I considered it female he said that I was *%$. I reasoned that I'd rather be riding a female bike than a male one.... :D
  • Get a girlfriend.

Just don't start sh*gging your bike, or if you do make sure it's in private and the cleaners can't catch you.

  • at what point do u stop thinking about upgrading and making her lighter?
when are u just content with what u have?

why r u looking for a new model, when the one that u have is perfect and only a few months old?

My "wife to be" is very unimpressed by the fact there are two bikes in the front room, not to mention the Madone 5.9 in Discovery trim in the back bedroom.....

Told her, in no uncertain terms they were part of the family. That she should just accept it.

Haven't had sex in a very long while!!!!

You need to go to a local cycleholics anonymous meeting.

"Hello, my name is Chefshaw and I've been a cyclist for 6 months"

    Something like that :D
