Heres my new cannondale SL2,and have started on the upgrade trail....have upgraded to Avid Elixir CR mags with 185mm rotors,Sram X0 long cage rear mech(redwin),X0 shifters(redwin),Sram 991 hollowpin chain,Sram powerglide 990 cassette(redwin),charge spoon saddle(grey)also to go on now but havnt taken any pics yet are ,Hope QR skewers(red),Truvativ Noir crankset(red),FSA K-force low rise carbon bars,and a Thomson elite silver seatpost,....next is forks...either Fox or DT swiss??...any recommendations?..not forgeting i have a 1.5" headtube...not sure the best way to go...

Re: fork upgrade... I just fitted a Fox F100 RL QR15 tapered steerer to my Cannondale. Got the 2009 version from CRC for £280.

I reckon that has to be one of the best bargains ever.

It has improved the performamce of the bike massively - light, super stiff and butter smooth. I am flying through sections that had me toying with the brakes a week earlier. Awesome!
