The Stranglers - aren't they a bit poo?

It's my humble opinion that they're poo - a bunch of boring old farts who make MOR rock for ageing uncles. One of the worst punk bands. They look like they all smell bad too.

Hugh Cornwall is ace, saw him a couple of years ago - excellent gig. Not sure about the Stranglers these days though - have been advised to avoid them live.

I saw them live at Le Mans a couple of years ago. They were pretty good (missed the start and was way off to the side though - I'd been watching the race!)

They were good playing at my local venue, which is also their local venue but not so good at glastonbury. They are certainly no where near as good as The Damned who are still awesome live and musically very similar.
My Mum used to play Golden Brown to send me to sleep when I was a baby, she didn't know that it was about heroine!
