Wheel spokes...

I noticed a couple of rear wheel spokes were loose when i arrived home today so tightened them a little. Now when i rotate the wheel it wobbles and rubs on the brake pads. Had a puncture two days ago if that makes a difference. (perhaps put it on wrong somehow)?

What can i do to rectify this?

Also when lightly dropping the front to the groud a light vibration (can hear it) occurs from the wheel

Cheers

the rim will pull to the side which the spokes are angled in the hub. they are alternated left-right-left. tighten a couple of spokes a little at a time(1/4 1/2 turn)which go to the opposite side of the buckle.
  • on a rear wheel one side will have more spoke tension than the other
Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.
  • Sounds like a good time to learn how to true a wheel
Was the wheel a handbuilt or factory
If built properly you shouldn't get loose spokes
The puncture wouldn't have caused this
