None of my LBS stock the shoe I want. Its the Shimano M063. My normal shoe size is a 10 so I was planning on ordering online a pair size 45s. Anybody got this shoe or can tell me whether Shimano's are normally big/small?

narrow and a little on the small side
  • Shimano size is a bit funny, you really need to try them out yourself. I'm a 46. Can't remember if they're big or small, certainly 1 size either way. Got a couple of Shimano shoes, tourer and roadie.

I'm normally a size 10, and bought a pair of Shimano shoes in size 46E which is their wide fitting. I'd say they are possibly a fraction too big, but with the ratchet I can get them tight enough.

+1 - I tried the R086 (stormtrooper) shoes in a the size 10-11 equivalents and they came up too small and narrow on my feet compared to Specialized and Northwave shoes of the same size.

If you do have wide feet (?) then I'd recommend Nortwave. They're sizing is more generous than other shoes I've tried.
