    Good man! :)

He was talking about steeplejacks but it's relevant to cycling in the rain.

There is a point at which you can't get wetter.

Rain doesn't bother me that much but this morning's fog caused a late change to the proposed route in.

  • The plan is to ride over the winter this year,so im going to need some good footwear as my feet were soaked this morning.

Overshoes. And you will be surprised by how infrequently you get properly wet. It may rain a fair bit in this country but it doesn't always rain between 8am - 9am and 5pm-6pm.

White Horse, I'll have to disagree with those timings based on at least two soakings last winter, but you're right, they are rare :)

Anyway, overshoes and Koolstop brake pads and we are invincible

Where was it raining this morning? Nice pleasant autumn (too cold for summer) morning here!

  • I know how much it rains i work out in all weathers, it was heavy heavy rain here in Kent this morning.
  • Recently got some sealskins with merimo wool-toasty. My overshoes keep my feet warm and keep the muck off, but let water in if I have to go through flooded roads, which I often do. Waterproof socks finish the job nicely
