Mornings like this i struggle to take bike to work

Its wet but im still going to, after all the school run is back on now and its quicker to ride.

He was talking about steeplejacks but it's relevant to cycling in the rain.

Rain doesn't bother me that much but this morning's fog caused a late change to the proposed route in.

Overshoes. And you will be surprised by how infrequently you get properly wet. It may rain a fair bit in this country but it doesn't always rain between 8am - 9am and 5pm-6pm.0 -
White Horse, I'll have to disagree with those timings based on at least two soakings last winter, but you're right, they are rare
Anyway, overshoes and Koolstop brake pads and we are invincible0 -

I know how much it rains i work out in all weathers, it was heavy heavy rain here in Kent this morning.0

Recently got some sealskins with merimo wool-toasty. My overshoes keep my feet warm and keep the muck off, but let water in if I have to go through flooded roads, which I often do. Waterproof socks finish the job nicely0
