I have a Dahon Cadenza solo and am looking for some quick release skewers. Any recommendations? Does the fact that it is a single speed impact on my choice at all?

Most on here recommend the Shimano internal cam skewers over the external cam type.

I use bolt through skewers for security on my commuter, lighter and cheaper!

SS makes no difference, you just need to make sure you get the right length's, most manufacturers publish them so you can get the right ones.

The rear dropouts are vertical so the on the skewer is less than with horizontal dropouts. I would still favour a traditional steel rod, internal cam (eg Shimano MTB, 135mm).
The boutique external cam ones often have nylon bearing surfaces which are NOT suitable for singlespeed use.
