    Unfortunately it's only a display (a model). A mate of mine was towing it around to various shows during the summer and I managed to have a good nose around it :lol:

    Nope, it's to mark the anniversary of the blitz.

    Us civilians aren't allowed to fly over London in single-engined aircraft, despite having far more hours. God knows they're military, you see, and will protect their engines from failure.

    Military aren't usually allowed either. For the 25th Anniversary of the Falklands War there were no Harriers - because they're single engined :(

    And yeah, that's an icky plastic spitfire I'm afraid, not a patch on the real thing. :D
