    Very odd. Always thought of O'Grady as a model pro so surprised that he has broken some team rule. Better re-visit PTP as I've got Andy down for a stage at some point this week!

    That's my hunch. I'd prefer it if they'd been eating cake on the rest day though, as per Iain's suggestion.

    I KNEW that picking Frank Schleck for the overall was a mistake, think this has confirmed it. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if he abandoned the race in support of his poor little picked on brother.

    Sending them home seems harsh though, so long as it really was just a drink or two. Would have thought that a public dressing down or a fine would have been better for the team as it wouldn't dent their chances for the rest of the race so badly. Maybe a convenient excuse for getting rid of them...

    This has echos of Sastre's final Vuelta for Riis, when he came out and said that Riis was making it hard for him as he was leaving for Cervelo

    Rodriquez should have had the jersey before now. He was robbed by the commissaires both at an intermediate sprint and for gapping Anton at the finish (they gave same time)

    If you're going to have opinions on so many riders, could you not at least develop a more varied and striking set of insults and approbations to offset ennui in the rest of us?
