After a rather dull day at work yesterday, just off to do it all again. I am now tucking into a muller crunch corner before leaving the house

Woken up at quarter past six today because my step brother doesn't understand the concept of closing doors and the cat came and decided she wanted to get into my room. Fantastic.

Gonna go build some stud walls at my dad's house in a bit, though i'm reasonably chuffed, as there's actually breakfast in the house for a change.

  • Gooooooood Morning Freaks!

Today, I woke up expecting to get a soaking on the commute, all the forecasts were predicting heavy rain for this morning. But low and behold, no rain! Granted the roads were a tad damp, but no standing water and *shock horror* sunshine! 8)

Not sure if it's going to stay like this for the rest of the day, but if it does, I feel a slight detour might be in order on the way home.

Already finished my outstanding work, so a day of slacking will be the order of the day. Think I might do some research on ear-wax...
  • yesterday evening was quite a success with both kids going to bed early, a very wet and windy ride round the coast in the dark, followed by big bath then lasagne without rabbit food.

Listening to the news this morning it's nothing but meh today.

I'm waiting for the HMRC letter to turn up demanding more than the average £1400.

I've got to ask whether 2 people in another part of the company can do the work or two of my staff as part of budget cuts.
Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

    Morning.

I'm now employed. What this means is that justifying extravagant purchases just got a hell of a lot easier, as it won't all be coming out of my student loan. Yay.

Good Morning, had a nice lie in. Brothers gone to college today so I finally have the house to myself. Today shall be spent with the usual uni work and then staff training later on.
  • Good morning all.

Today is nice. Took Boy to school had a natter and now I am home drinking tea and for the 1st time in 6weeks and 4 days I can have a look on here, drink more tea and go for a ride.

Thinking I may get wet and or very muddy, hope any fitness levels I had have not vanished.
All issues with Cassie have been sorted, new bb, linkage bearings and bolts, headset full of new round things and grease I even put a new chain on.

  • Hi All,

Humfff, not going to be able to ride the bike until next week as busy till then :(

Am North of windy Aberdeen for 3 days of golf - very envious of all the people that I saw on the drive up from Manchester who had their bikes on their cars - but hey, it's not work so can't complain. 25mph winds and lots of (forecasted) rain might prove a challenge for my swing though...
