...well simple for you guys I hope.

I have a Trek Madone 5.2 2006 model (http://www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtop ... ght=madone). I'd like to buy a spare set of Ultegra brake shoes but I'm unsure what I to get since the Ultegra groupset I've got is out of date.

Can I simply buy shoes from this years Ultegra range and expect them to fit? Any help please would be appreciated.

You can fit any (Shimano compatible) pads into those holders. Shimano, Koolstop, Swisstop, etc. Just loosen the screw, slide out the old pad and slide in the new one, tighten the screw :D
