Vittoria tubs, new but 5 years old.

I've been offered two unused Vittoria tubs which I think are the predecessor to the Corsa Evo. They do not have the red valve system. Are they worth having if I can save £12.00 a tyre or are the new Evos so much better?

Tubs, like good wine, get better with age!

They're unlike to have got brittle in five years unless they were left in the sun: it's probably worth inspecting them carefully before you buy them, however. The "ageing" myth is long dead, I think.

  • Those are called "aged". But beware, they're absolute crap and dangerous to humans, but don't worry, I'll arrive at your house with special equipment to safely remove them from your premises and dispose of them. I only charge $10 per tubular for this service. What time is good for you?
