At the risk of stating the obvious - had you considered a loan if you haven't the cash up front?
It's that or nothing I'm afraid - the C2W Scheme only works if your employer has signed up to it sadly.0 -
Get a bike you can afford? Nice bikes are nice but you can get something perfectly useable for not much money if you look around. Not worth getting into debts over.Faster than a tent.......0

Look at the second hand market?0

I know what you mean. My employer has been implementing the C2W scheme for the last 18 months and I'm getting fed up waiting. If you search around the site you will find talk of new regulations which will significantly increase the final payment to purchase the bike from your employer, making the scheme much less attractive. Get a new zero interest credit card and bag a 2010 bargain!0

Some bike shops do 0% finance.... google the bike you want and add 0% finance on the end and see if it comes up0

Probably not that great an idea. What happens at the end of the 0% finance deal when you find that your lack of pay rise and increasing inflation means you have less money in 12 months than you do now. Fine if you can be ruthless about paying it off during the year but disasterous if you can't/Faster than a tent.......0 -
Some good points here!
Im willing to allow £100 a month now for the max of 12 months, i will have to do some extra over time on weekends, so will do some searching today
