Good morning, i now face a 125 mile drive to get my cousin to work before 8am...
not impressed
i suspect today will be completely meh0 -
Day 1 of a 2 day working week.
Hoping today is an easy day but won't hold my breath.0 -
-
Good morning all.... about to start to get ready to face another day of meh at the office.
BUT hugely excited as my wheels should be here this week and my frame should be getting shipped out to me today!! Woot so should be getting that by Wednesday
Like being a kid again..... :oops:0 -
Porridge is warming up and I'm looking forward to getting out and about0
-
Morning all!
After a tiring weekend of working, getting drunk climbing and snowboarding (in that order) I have survived with the addition of 2 very bruised knees and legs and arms cut and grazed to shreds booo....and no that wasn't from the drinking!
I look like a kid that's just fallen over...bad times.
Today I am at work, whole service brief at 9am may find out something about our jobs, probably not though. Then nipping home for a nap before my afternoon exploits as I am so tired I can barely function! ZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzRide it like you stole it!0 -
meh.
Work.
And I still ache from yesterday. Not helped by bacon and then roast beef failure.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
Yawn! Yawn yawn yawn! Been running around this weekend doing everything that needs to be done on a weekend because next saturday, I'm driving to Holland and working from there for three weeks or so. Weekend disappeared. Oh, did get to to ride though, so that was good.
Need to kickstart my brain. Must think, but can't at the minute0 -
Well 3 hours into my first day back and I can see just how dull my job is. I don't suppose any of you fancy financing my plans for opening a hostel0
-
Morning...and it's not a good one!
Reasons:
First day back at work after a wonderful week off.
Visit by the Puncture Fairy 1 mile into my commute. (I shouldn't really complain as this is my first commuting puncture for about 3 years - would have been okay if the pump I was carrying worked, same for the CO2 inflater. Had to walk back to the house and get the track pump on it, grab another small pump to carry and then engage warp mode to get to the office within a reasonable time)
Commuting with the school-run Moms - couple of very near misses!
The office is dead. They'd be more life at a morgue...
I haven't had anything bacon related yet. (Oh and whilst I remember, yesterday, Mrs C discovered that we didn't have any sausages to make sausage stuffing for with the Sunday lunch. So...she substituted the sausage meat with chopped up BACON! Awesome just doesn't due justice to this).
Think I'l going to call a 'team meeting' in one of the local fast-food outlets...0 -
In a good mood today but sooo tired i'm gonna find it hard to function later.
Reasonable ride yesterday, but it did highlight the fact that i'm in no way ready for my last race. two weeks left to train and no time to really put the effort in
this time in 5 weeks i'll partying hard in vegas, that cant come quickly enough! then as soon as thats out the way i'm going to start the new bike plans0 -
Cured meat in stuff you say? I shall try!
Bah to the puncture fairy. when I started commuting over to Scallifax, I got them all the time before getting gatorskins. It was just that town that did it, with it's litterbug chavvy arseplanks and their penchant for sprinkling their pretty sparkly old cider bottles everywhere. I've never gotten a puncture on the commuting bike anywhere else.0 -
Good morning, just getting ready for an appraisal at work, been there fives years and I've never had one. The rest of the day will be spent doing my assignment for uni, two weeks til it's due in.0
-
Morning. I'm going to go and register with a doctor here this morning, so I don't have to traipse back to my hometown quack if I need one. Then, at 2, I have a job interview.0

TBH, I'm a bit puzzled about this one as there's definitely a 'snake bike' in the tube, but I'm running 110psi!
Happened as I dropped off a cycle path onto the road - a drop of about an inch at the most (and that's an Imperial inch, not an MBUK one). Despite this, I really can't fault the Conti Gatorskins or the Contacts I've used.0 -
That's just weird then. Perhaps the tube's been caught in between the tyre and the rim?
Reminds me though. A couple of weeks ago, I was riding around Hollandland on a dutch bike (why does no-one in that entire country maintain any bike?) and my tyre exploded. Turns out, the tube in there was too large, so someone had just folded it over a bit. Sigh.0 -
I'm staying in bed today, totally CBA. No energy at all.
Think I've got worms.0 -

What's the job interview for?
Just back from my appraisal, and fingers crossed they're gonna pay for me to do my swimming teacher qualification and maybe even pool plant, score! Oh and they told me what a good employee I am.0 -
Job interview's for Halfords.
Apparently I won't be registering with the doctor today, as I don't have my NHS card with my NHS number on it here. I know exactly where it is at my parents' house, but the drawer it's in contains *ahem* things I'd rather not have them rummaging through...0 -

Obviously in the car audio department, you're far to qualified to be a spanner monkey...0 -
Well, I know absolutely nothing about car audio, which makes me perfect for the role.0
-
Not quite perfect. Maybe closer if you had no sleep for three days and we got a goat to piss in your hair.0

I had a scared phone call from one of my employees, turns out my boss has been questioning my staff about me
He's apperantly worked out that if he doesnt do any work and i end up doing it i'm not happy about it?
projectsome look after it, mine worked for at least 3 trips and i couldnt get a decent mount once,(too shakey) it was always at the wrong angle or something, but you cant tell until you get home :evil:0 -

I've bought the sports kit which I intend to mount with a hefty amount of cable ties to the frame I'm slightly worried the cam will fall out of the bracket though so loadsa rubber bands also0 -
yeah i actually tie wraped mine to the mount too.
the closest i came to having a decent poition was on my seat post, but being a hard tail it still rattled around a bit. on the stem it bounced too much, helmet mout looked like it should of worked best but the thing stopped working? must dig it out again and try?again.0 -

I don't really want to mount it on the helmet in case I hit a low branch0
