- as the title says really
I bought some bargain RS Sid forks and have been using them this summer. I've done nothing more than wipe off the dust. As winter approaches I'm slightly anxious about trashing them as I've read horror stories of neglected forks getting trashed by British weather.
I'll get a shop to do a full service at some point but I'm not certain of even say cleaning around the rubber/plastic seals at the top of the lower part of the fork to get at the muck imbedded there.

Any advice on lubes, cleaning toys, very basic maintenance and links would be very welcome.

Thanks in advance
