    Not overly convinced. Sure the Golf is quick, but..
    The Supra applied brakes in the video footage taken from the Porsche making the Golf 1 seem a little quicker than it was
    What would convince me is some GPS or speedometer footage while that was taking place

    The video's deceptive. He's revving the tits off the golf as he goes to past, whereas it sounds like the supra starts pulling away at fairly low revs, and as it gets the revs up, it looks like he's going to pull away before he sticks on the brakes. Wisely may I add. The golf's driving like a tit.

    And there's a lot of variables in there. A standard supra and a tuned supra or two completely different things. You can't quantify the power of a random supra on the road. You can tune any car to keep up with a standard one.

    I think I raced him once at Crail, could be another similiar car I guess. Thing was crazy, so damn fast. There was no other car there that could run beside him without looking daft so he got matched against bikes all day :lol:
