Changing a bottom bracket

wouldnt mind upgrading my bottom bracket. Saw a really good tuition from Hope Tech on YouTube but still unclear to what 'special tools' are involved?

Its the Hope BB I'd like to stick in BTW.

    Parktools cover all BBs.

    +1 on park tools, that site is a goldmine.

    Hope BB are a lot of money and worth it!
    Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?
