Whites Level Afan
Took an impromptu trip to Afan yesterday, first time there and only my 2nd trail centre (did Cannock a few weeks back) am now well and truly hooked on this trail centre lark. Anyways here's some pics I took whilst doing Whiltes Level, the views on the climb make it well worthwhile, let alone the descents back down.
Also, hat tip to Jason and Peter, two local lads I met on the climb who guided me the rest of the way round and encouraged me into joining them in doing the black section at the top, great fun and very ridable, I'd have missed that if it weren't for them and they pushed me the rest of the way round too. Great pics. Glad you had a good day out.
Did my 1st trial centre at Glentress last week. Hired a bike in Peebles, rode in from there. Red up and down to Buzzards Nest then Blue up and back to Peebles.
Fantastic riding and scenery. There's nothing at that level down here in Hampshire so thoroughly enjoyed it.
Would love to do a whole lot more. My in-laws live a hour from Glentress and my sister an hour from Kielder. Will be planning trips with the bike on roof rack in future!1999 Scott Vail - Work commute
