Eggbeaters and loose cleats are doing my head in!!!

Can anyone shed some info please, or do i can them and go back to shimanos?

Do you mean the cleats on your shoes are loose?

I ride with eggbeaters and have no problems at all.

Yeah its the cleats in my shoes. I tighten them up as much as poss. I've cleaned them, used different bolts, washers etc etc
I can probably get 20miles out of them before they come loose and start moving???

Have you checked that the boltholes on your shoes aren't stripped? You could also try using some blue LocTite on the cleats.

thread lock!
spd bolts do periodically come loose, but a drop of thread lock should solve it, if not, as above, check threads in shoe plate!

Yep, dab of blue Loctite or similar. Never had problems myself.

Awesome lads! I've checked the bolt holes and they are fine. I'll be loctiting them asap.
