Some of you may recognise bits from another users bike, I bought most of the bits off him...

Sorry that these pictures break the forum software, none of the other forums I use has a problem so I'm not changing them just for here:)

    Looking good that, fantastic frames too (Not that I'm biased or anything :wink:)

    How did you get it to weigh nearly 14kg though, mines around 12kg with a very similar spec.

  • No idea where the weight is hidden, I doubt the bars/stem are the lightest, nor the pedals, but it climbs fine - could be my "bathroom scales, holding then not holding bike" maths wasn't 100% accurate... :oops:

    Nipped off to the LBS to get some crimps for the gear cables via the byways and it rides beautifully, uphill gives more traction and downhill is like riding a cushion of air

    Friend has a carbon hardtail that weighs in at something ridiculous, I'll trade the few kgs for the lack of arse pounding thanks...;)
  • Nope, checked again just now and it's 13.6 measured after I chopped off the excess cabling...;)

    I completely agree, hence getting a Specialized Enduro today :roll:
