Well after going to 4 different halfords stores I finally managed to find one that had the sizae I wanted in stock unbuilt. Just finished putting it together and must say it's a lot of bike for £450
Will be adding some bling over the next few weeks
Only downside was one of the brake cable clips was broken when I took it out of the box anyone know if you can buy these? Or should I just go back to halfords and get one?
Cheers

Nice bike.
Have you contacted Halfords about the broken clip? They'll probably have a few kicking about, I'm sure they'll just give you one if you let them know.
If that fails, I might have one somewhere, from a different frame though so not sure it'd fit. I'd gladly have a look though.0 -
I have one of these too, although i have done a bit of upgrading. They ride very nicely, great for the money.
As for the clip, just take it in to a halfords, they will just give you one off another bike. We'll see things they'll never see...

Hope you enjoy the bike feller, I sure enjoy mine
Great fun, real nice bargain at £450
Think it'll certainly help that you built the bike up yourself, at least you'll have checked the bolts are tightened up correctly!
Something which I had issues with, thanks to the faith I mistakenly put in Halfords assembly0 -

I made sure halfords did not build it as I had heard lots of horror stories so got a friend who works in a LBS to build it and set it up for me :-)0 -
It looks so shiny and white :P It won't stay that way for long0

You won't be disappointed - it's a great bike
This. Set the fork up right, and it performs beautifully.0 -
Well the little bling bits have started to arrive
White pedals
Superstar grips

What pedals are they? The ones that come stock are rubbish.0

The Wellgo V8 copies are perfectly good flat pedals, I would leave them on till they fall apart to be honest.0

LOVE IT been commuting on it (about 7 miles each way) most of it on a disused railway and i cant fault it, so much better than my 10 + year old Scott Octane FX3.
Only small issue is that it is slipping in top gear just need to adjust it a little (that is my job for tonight)
Ordered some more bits so will update the pics later0 -
well some updates, decided on the Orange and White theme :-)
Spank bars and stem, Charge Spoon Wiggle seat and seat post.
going to order som superstar ornage grips and pedals next :-)
What do you think?0 -
