Interesting, in Scotland you aren't allowed to take any item which may be used as a missile into a Senior league football ground. So Cans, bottles etc. (but some grounds won't let you in with packets of Ribena despite them being sold in the ground...)
So there is me at the KC Stadium in Hull for a pre-season friendly, expecting to be handed a cup of coke, and being given a bottle.
Even weirder at The Oval in Belfast (Glentorrans ground) you get handed the bottle but don't get the lid.
Given the nature of some of the occupants of a court house I'm not surprised missiles are banned but Sandwiches? Can just think of the court report in the local paper "The trial of Emma Pratt who is accused of assault at Kirkaldy High Court was adjourned today after advocate Findlay responded to verbal abuse from the public benches by throwing his Prawn Sandwiches at the family of the victim Adam Beviridge who had accused Cowdenbeith of being A Shite Fitbaw Team and that Raith will hump yez, ya hoor"Do Nellyphants count?
