Had a great tear round Lochard today leaving from and returning to Aberfoyle. Great bit of track and some of the descents were thrilling. The great weather made a fantastic day out, spent about 4 hours including a stop by Loch Ard for some refeulling. Hardly passed a sole on the whole trip.
Rounded off with a few scoops in Aberfoyle.

Literally just got back from there myself. I did the loch Katrine route and also the 3 loch route which is about 7.5 miles. Fantastic place for riding!0

Loch Ard forest is superb, plenty of options, lots of seldom explored singletrack, miles of quiet track. It is wonderful!!"Encyclopaedia is a fetish for very small bicycles"0

Guys, what kind of trails/single track are we talking here. Is it all fireroads or is it proper singletrack, fun descents etc?
Thanks0 -

Both. Plenty of fire roads, but there is a fair amount of proper singletrack too, just search for it and you will find it. Plenty of fun, rocky descents. It covers a huge area."Encyclopaedia is a fetish for very small bicycles"0
