Whitsand Bay area (Cornwall) for a week - take my MTB?

I'm off down that way for a week staying in a cottage for a week. Now I know the area is hilly but are there any decent rides to be had?

If there are I'll pack the bike and havew a couple of mornings on the holiday where I head off for a blast?

Any hot spots in the local area guys?
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

    There is great MTB in Cornwall :D

    For DJ go to the track at Porteath
    For XC just get your Os map out
    A good area of riding is the United downs, having not been there for some time i do not know where all the good spots are these days but there are people digging new stuff up there

    Alternitivley try the bike cafe at Bissoe as you can hire an MTB guide.

    For LBS if you can get there CLive Mcihel cycles will serve you well
