Evening all,

I am planning a trip to Afan in November with a group that could include 12 people, we normally camp and normally go in the Summer, but this time around we're heading for November and most dont want to camp.

So I've come across the Green Lantern and Queen's are these the best in the area? Pro's and Con's?

Basically looking for somewhere that offers' breakfast in the price, secure bike storage, close to at least one pub and within 30mins drive?

Thanks for your advice!

Also a long shot, but I've heard on the grapevine that Afan is closed for one weekend in November for an event of some sort, is this true? If so which weekend?

Shaun

  • You can't beat the Green Lanterns. Great spot and it has a good bar/restaurant onsite (T-Bones - book your table in advance in case they're busy) so you don't have to drive anywhere and can just crawl back to your room after a few beers. Quality.

Afan lodge. Nice people, restaurant, comfy rooms, bar.... I could go on. It's designed for mtbers too, so v. Secure bike parking and decent jet wash. Half way between the centres too, so ridable to both.
