Trying to build up a new bike on the cheap and wondered who had bought one and what they thought?

You're unlikely to get a set of tubes to braze together though....

I have one, I'm waiting for a few bits to arrive and (if they get here by this weekend) I'll be building saturday and riding sunday

they take a cane creek internal headset (36x45) but don't get the cane creek one that costs a tenner on the crc website as they are sh1t quality. you'll need a 1.18in steerer fork and you'll need a cable guide for the bottom of the frame, and a band on front mech
