Are there any ferrys across from Norway to Iceland, and Iceland to Canada? Greenland is there but it doesn't appear to have any roads......!

An idle moments though of going to america without flying. Possibly into Europe and up Sweden, across Norway, ferry across to Iceland, then it is very remote very quickly.

Anyone done it, or any other ideas?

  • You can get a ferry from Esbjerg to Reykjavik (3 nights) but there are no ferries from Greenland to Iceland or Canada

According to a quick google, it has 90miles of roads, 40miles of which are paved. It would make a pretty short tour!

Alternatively you could go through Russia, and I'm sure with the right kit you could pedal over the ice on the Bering Strait to get to Alaska, if you went at the right time of year
  • There are no roads connecting towns in Greenland - travel is by boat over long distance or snowmobile for short journeys - MTB ?
