It went rock, sky, rock, sky.....ach, you know how it goes, and besides, I fancied a new helmet anyway.

Shouldn't call him a b1tch, might upset his cowboy feelings
Sure you couldnt have pulled up boxers at the side to expose that bruise Joe? :x0 -
He's thick skinned.
:oops:0 -
Yes, I could have thonged my boxers, but is the sight of my cute wee peachy ass really so offensive?
No, I thought not.0 -
Ouch, hope you didn't do that Devinci of yours any harm! Looks like you took a fair battering!0

Nah, the bike's fine. It's not coming down that fcuks up your bike, it's getting it to the top in the first place that screws it up. All the damage on mine has come from uplift days.
Top Tip : Lizard Skins shock boots fit the stanchions of Boxxers perfectly and will stop any bikes lying against yours from marking your forks. When you get to the top, just rip them off and shove them in your pocket.0 -
is that a helmet mount for a cam I see up there?
Are we going to see the footage of your dramatic descent down Bill?
Nice man-bruise there too0 -
It is indeed a helmet cam mount, but unfortunately it's for a Veho Muvi, so you'd probably get a better picture if I drew my crash for you, so sorry - no carnage footage.
The bruise is great! I wore shorts to work today just to get sympathy from all the chicks in the office, it worked a treat!0 -
I like that! Hey, you could wear speedos to really show off your damaged! But then... you might not be able to tell which direction the sympathy is pointing.0
-
I work in Glasgow.
If I wore Speedos to work I'd come home with more bruises than when I went in.0 -
...and no, it's nothing like a Lamborghini.0

You should probably try wearing some clothes next time, it'll help protect you (if you don't already have armoured shorts, Leisurelakes have silly prices on the 661 Bomber Evos btw, come highly recommended and tested by yours truly)
Half of what was going through my head on the way down that was "Wow, if I crash here I won't stop moving til I reach over there". Oh, that and "I wonder if this is where Sam Hill smashed himself to bits?"Uncompromising extremist0 -
Hmmmm...I've been thinking about those Bomber shorts and given the severity of the impact I partook in, I wonder just how much they would have done for me in my hour of need.
Anything Sam Hill can do.....0 -
They seem pretty effective... The thigh protector is just a big foam pad but even that will do a fair bit, the hip protector is more effective. They've got cheap standard Bombers too but the Evos are ace, they're no more bother than wearing standard lycra shorts, they don't feel like armour.
(my right leg's held on with 3 bolts and I've taken some proper big slams on that side wearing the shorts and always been able to get back up, course I might have done the same without them but they feel like they help)Uncompromising extremist0 -
