I got called into the office at my part time job ( I job share with a very nice lady and it suits us both just fine) we both thought Oh crap the good times are over P45 time.

We were both pretty stunned to be told they thought we were both doing a good job we cant give you a pay rise but we can bump you up a pay grade. Also we have to provide holiday and sickness cover for each other which means at least 4 weeks a year I had to work a full 5 day week but only got payed my standard 2.5 days pay. Not any more we are going to get payed for covering our own holidays and sickness so thats another 2 weeks pay per year minimum on top of the extra grade.

    Result!!!! :D

So...when I was 15, at a 2 weeks Outdoor Education at a Christian centre, and got caught in bed with a 17 Catholic bird from Birmingham, and sent home early...

Do you think this was why I lost my job at GKN?
