The Zonda car is out of my budget, but Campag wheels aren't ;-) Spotted these, too good to be true? Would you get them?

2009, silver version. Currently have Ventos probably 2004/2005 model
Say... That's a nice bike..

I'd try and add another £30 and find some really good Euros wheels, significantly better and lighter.

Generally you can find a good 2nd hand pair for £300, the Euros are bullet proof wheels as well and Aero so you get that lovely whooshing noise above 25mph on the flat! :)
  • I'd get the Euros if I had a nicer bike...Euros same price as my bike, bit out of balance :P also wondiering if some factory made wheels can't be fixed (ie unusual spokes, and specially spokes that are fixed to the rim ie carbon jobbies)

Seriously don't worry about them outclassing your bike, Campag wheels are bullet proof.

I run Shamals and have done 3000 miles on them through all types of roads and they are still so straight as to be unbelievable, similar technology as the Euros which my future son-in-law runs and he has done a similar mileage.

Parts are easy, I had new bearing put in just after buying them 2nd hand, cost me a fiver.

You will never regret getting them, I wish I could get a pair for my training bike, but unfortunately I have to run Fulcrum 5's on them however they are made by Campag so they have the reliability.

If it's any comfort, I can highly recommend that ebay vendor. I bought my daughter a Cinelli Experience frame from them at a very good price. It arrived very promptly, perfectly packed. Excellent service.
