Hello
I am leaving for uni in the next couple of weeks, and my parents have decided that (as an early birthday/christmas present) I can have £300 to spend on a bike. I had a Specialized Hardrock Disc until some bastard stole it a few months back so have been bike-less for a while.
I like the look of the Merida 20-MD ( http://www.dalescycles.com/product_p/2009matts20md.htm ) but can't find any reviews of it. Does anyone have any experiences of this bike, or any other recommendations of bikes within my price range?
Thanks

Seems like a decent buy for the Money....Merida are probably the worlds biggest frame producer and started marketing their own a few years back....you have other choices such as the Carerra Kracken or Decathlon...0

Thanks. I've heard lots of good things about the Kracken; will definitely check it out.
How do you think the Merida would compare to a Hardrock?0 -
What do people think of the Scott Aspect 60? http://www.dalescycles.com/2010_Scott_A ... 215603.htm0

Title updated. I've narrowed it down to these three....... Thoughts?0

Hradrock is very basic, but nice frame. Same with the Scott.
The Merida is the better package, and the Kraken simply blows blows them all away.0
