can any of you give me an approximate year of this Raleigh Reynolds 531,here's some pics.
by the way just registered so Hi to all,i'm in Ireland.and i have recently started collecting old racers with a view to restoring them in the future,if i get the time.

    1989/90-ish judging by the components
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

    I remember this from a Raleigh catalogue when my Viscount Aerospace got trashed - 1990. I think it was the Clubman model (may be wrong on that one though).

    I don't reckon that this is an "off the peg" model. it looks like it's been built up with parts. I would guess the frame is from 89, some of the Shimano Exage components will be from around this time too. The rear mech looks like a Shimano 600, this is earlier, mid 80's? The chainset looks like a old 105 or 600 from about 86/87.

    The Reynolds sticker would help date it. That style is from the eighties - I reckon earlier than 1989. By that time, the brighter green and yellow was being used (as far as I recall).
