Apologies if this is a dumb question, but... If I spray degreaser on my cassette when still attached to the wheel, do I risk removing the grease from the hub too if I spray too liberally?

Cheers guys, just as I thought.

Is the same true for my chainrings and bottom bracket, or is it sealed (Deore cranks and shimano external bb)?

Also, what tools do I need to remove my Shimano cassette?

HG Cassette Tool and Chain whip..

Don't put any degreaser (assuming not like muc off) near any seals. Take it or the rings off the clean.

Cheers for that, I'll order the stuff today, and find an example on YouTube before I dive in.

I'm using the muc-off spray degreaser, is that significant?
