Mongoose Meteore help.

I need your help!

I am going to purchase a Mongoose Meteore elite 2008, but i really need some advice about 2 things:

Is this a good bike?

What size frame?... I am approx 5'9", and the choice is between a 16" or 18"

are you sure it is a 2009?

you were linked a 2008 last time.

a Link to the bike would be a good idea as it might be a poor spec but it might also be a great spec.

but how can we tell?

re size looked in the Size topic for a guide.

Hi Chris...yep Mongoose are a decent brand..been around for over 30 years..massive in the states and don't get the recognition over here which is a shame...I had a Teocali a few years back and the build was great..it is a great spec'd bike.

I would say the 18" but try if you can

jup... nowt wrong with that bike,,,, real nice spec for the money too... im a big advocate of buying last years stock.. (or 2 years ago,, ) you just get SOOOooo much more bike for your money
Would go with the 18" .... should fit you perfect fill your boots!...

Looks okto me. I have a Mongoose Canaan Elite and the quality is very high and as good as any other bike from Taiwan. Its also worth knowing that Mongoose are part of the Cannondale Sports Group.

Hi Chris, if you do buy one would you post up some pics? I'm interested in this bike too, and it would be great to see some real life pics, the ones on the site aren't great and it's not on the Mongoose site anymore. Thanks
