Backpack

I'm after a backpack that will be good for on rides(hydration etc) but that will also cater to my needs for sixth form/college!
Ideally something not too bulky but will be capable of carrying a few books etc and cycling gear simultaneously
Thanks in advance

Bit of a tough one that.
How far you ride will dictate what size pack you use and this may not be enough for your school gear.
I think the best solution would be 2 packs, can get a cheap hydration 6L from tesco £11
and a £20 messenger for school.Whats That All About !

I know it's a toughy, thanks for the reply! I usually ride 20-40 miles maybe more. On a ride I may carry two extra water bottles, keys, food and medical kit. Thinking about it college is only 4-5 miles so the backpack only needs to be big enough for a few books OR stuff for my ride(mentioned above)0

Well, probably around 40 quid but if you've got any recommendations over then fire away and I'll see if i can find it cheaper!0

OK you could look at these, again what you go for depends on what storage you need.
Probably 10-20 litre packs with 2-3 litre hydration.

Cheers for the links pal! Any idea of the size of the Mule?0

The mule is 11.5 litre capacity with a 3 litre bladder, haven`t seen one in the flesh
so not sure if big enough, but they get a good rating. You could always take the bladder out when not riding.
A quick visit to your local bike shop will give you an idea of the best size for your needs.
Happy hunting.Whats That All About !

I've had one of these for years and it has served me well. Has room for a hydration pack, a padded laptop section and more pockets than you can shake a stick at.
Top notchIf it aint broke, dont fix it. Wait, there's 1 exception...unless it can be pimped up in anyway.0
