Hi Guys,

I'm just getting back into biking and still have my original blue & white 1990 SCOTT SAWTOOTH in the garage. The frame is in excellent condition but it possilby needs some work on the gears & new wheels.

What I'm trying to find out is whether it's worth anything or should I invest in a new bike and bin the Scott. As you can tell it's been a while since I new anything about MTB's.

Any comments would be helpful.

Gary

TBH relegate it to comuting/pub/shopping use.

any money thrown at it would be better spent on a new bike.

    Have a look here:

    http://www.retrobike.co.uk/

Will find plenty of oldies (and a fair few goodies).

But bikes have moved on a long way.

I have an '88 Specialised but now relegated to trips to the shop and the odd retro run.
